Born in Garça, São Paulo-Brazil,
Silvio began to express himself at an early age through drawings inspired by his dreams. As a painter Silvio fuses this surreal imagination with more immediate reality, using color pencils with a keen sensibility to different materials and surfaces he has developed his style. One can say his paintings are a combination of this quasi-abstract figurative and expressionistic way of working.
During his youth Silvio lived in the huge, thriving, culturally active city of São Paulo. His passion for art and music led him to seek even larger horizons in New York city where he was residing for a few years. His large canvases have been exhibited at The United Nations in 2005. He has also participated in several group shows in Newark, New Jersey and New York City. Silvio is now working on sculptural designs merging art and furniture with ecological consciousness. Silvio is living between Brazil and Colombia.
